PLOT

The series centers on the Smith family's escapades, particularly focusing on Rick Sanchez, a mad scientist and samurai, and his teenage grandchildren, Morty and Summer Smith. Morty's 14 and quite naive, while Summer's 17 and more rebellious. Their parents, Jerry and Beth (Rick's daughter), aren't thrilled about their inter-dimensional journeys. Throughout the vast multiverse showcased in the show, we see alternative versions of these characters, like the power-hungry "President Morty Smith" who wears glasses. Each version of the characters varies slightly depending on the reality they come from.
