PLOT
Krylancelo Finrandi and his foster sister Azalie Cait-Sith were once bright sorcery students at the renowned Tower of Fangs, prodigies in a world of magic and monsters. However, a horribly botched experiment warps Azalie's appearance and imprisons her as a dragon. Elders at the Tower drive the changed Azalie away and cover up the incident because they care more about maintaining their reputation than they do about the safety of their students. Outraged, Krylancelo leaves the group and sets out on his own, using the name "Orphen" and pledging to bring Azalie back to health. Orphen's search has come to a dead end five years later. He runs into Azalie again through a chance encounter, but he is still unable to revive her body. And he might not have much longer given that a hostile group of sorcerers is trying to find her. As Orphen seeks a way to protect Azalie from their former teachers and friends, the past and present are brought into conflict.
