INFORMATION

PLOT

The high school in Exclamation, USA, where Clone High is set, is secretly being used as part of a complex military experiment by a department of the government known as the Secret Board of Shadowy Figures. All of the students at the school are clones of well-known historical personalities who were developed in the 1980s with the intention of having the US military use their varied skills and aptitudes. Cinnamon J. Scudworth, the high school's principal, has his own ideas for the clones and works covertly to subvert the Board's plans. Scudworth wants to use the clones to build "Cloney Island," an amusement park with a clone theme that is decidedly less sinister than the Board's. His robot butler, Mr. Butlertron (a parody of Mr. Belvedere), who is programmed to call everyone "Wesley" and speak in three various intonations, serves as his vice principal, dehumidifier, and assistant. Abe Lincoln, Joan of Arc, and Gandhi's clones serve as the major characters of Clone High. The majority of the plot of the program centers around Abe's attempts to win over the conceited and promiscuous clone of Cleopatra, unaware that his companion Joan of Arc has feelings for him. In the meantime, Abe's longtime opponent JFK's clone, a macho, narcissistic womanizer, is also trying to win over Cleopatra. Gandhi serves as the comic relief in several of the episodes. The characters that we witness learn the majority of "Life's Lessons" the hard way on a few occasions as well.
