PLOT
The series focuses on Clifford as a young red puppy and is set two years before the events of Clifford the Big Red Dog. The pet dog of Emily Elizabeth's neighbor, Mr. Bradley (who made an appearance in an episode of the previous animated series "Little Clifford"), had a litter of puppies, with Clifford being the runt. Before becoming a large red adult dog, Clifford was adopted by Emily Elizabeth, causing the Howard family to vacate their cramped apartment so Clifford could live peacefully. The show depicts Clifford and Emily Elizabeth's life and relationships with their acquaintances before they relocated to Birdwell Island.
