Chris Colorado

Chris Colorado is set on a post-apocalyptic Earth. A data-processing flaw that makes it impossible for humans to detect the impact of a meteorite leads to a catastrophic catastrophe known as The Great Crash, which causes the extinction of almost all life on Earth. After some time had passed, numerous survivors came together to try to reconstruct and develop a more modern, peaceful civilization, and they established "The World Federation." The Mega War, which culminated with Thanatos assuming control of Europe, was launched by a mystery dictator named Thanatos, a human wearing a helmet to hide his face, and his army of human cyborgs, the Thanors. However, one group, "The Centurions of Freedom," led by Commander Richard Julian, was able to fight back and defeat Thanatos. Thanatos appeared to have sought refuge in what was left of Glorious City (Earth's first world capital, now mostly destroyed by the meteorite), where a strange black liquid from the meteorite, now known as "Dark Torrent" by the Centurions, allowed him to gather a new army of Thanors from the survivors still residing Captain Chris Colorado, a former soldier who is athletic, intelligent, and weary of the world, is recruited by World Federation Commander Richard Julian. Richard Julian then tells Chris that he is the son of William-Erwin Krantz, a well-known Centurions of Freedom soldier who was tasked with infiltrating Thanatos's army and gathering intelligence but went missing and was widely believed to have defected to the enemy. Chris himself had come to hate him as a traitor as a result of this. Chris initially hesitates to take the position as Julian's principal covert agent in the battle against Thanatos, but he eventually agrees due to his desire to learn the truth. Chris will be forced to participate in progressively riskier adventures where he will have encounters with a variety of enigmatic characters who will inform him of the horrific truth about his father, his relatives, and The Great Crash itself.
