PLOT

The show centers on the exploits of two unidentified dogs, neither of whom are particularly intellectual, as implied by the title. Compared to the Little Dog, the Big Dog tends to talk a lot less. The Big Dog typically discusses food when he speaks. The first season's animation is out of the ordinary for the time; it has a very flat and straightforward style reminiscent of the earliest Hanna-Barbera cartoons from the 1950s and 1960s but with humor and sensibility from the early 1990s. Character animation is more fluid and exaggerated in the second season's wilder, more ludicrous content.
