PLOT
The adventures of six fish-tailed kids- Molly, Gil, Deema, Oona, Goby, and Nonny. Every episode has the same structure. The opening scene of the episode features the show's logo in a room that is filling with water. The show's title is then announced to the audience by the Little Fish, breaking the fourth wall. The show opens with Molly declaring, "Hi, it's me, Molly, and it's time for—," but she is interrupted by Gil doing an act connected to the episode's theme. It's time for Bubble Guppies!, one or both of the two say, and the theme tune starts to play. The Little Fish announce the title of the episode after the theme tune. When one or more characters are en route to school, something unexpected might happen. In "Call a Clambulance!" for instance, Avi snaps his tail when Oona is driving to school. A guppy shares the earlier encounter with Mr. Grouper. The characters talk about the theme after his suggestion, "Let's think about it." The next piece of music focuses on the episode's central theme. In most episodes, Molly or Gil perform this song, but occasionally Deema or Mr. Grouper do.
