PLOT
Bear looks after his buddies Ojo, a bear cub, Tutter, a mouse, Treelo, Pip and Pop, and storyteller Shadow while residing in the Big Blue House. He goes on a lot of excursions with his companions. Those typically include problem-solving, sharing, teamwork, and acquiring social and life skills. Each episode begins with the theme tune, Bear smelling the audience (which he compares to a pleasant smell), and the introduction of the cast. Each program has a theme (such as "sleep," "doctors," or "Thanksgiving") that is integrated into a lesson at the conclusion. The episode is accompanied by songs and jokes. Each episode features a segment that is narrated by the shadow puppet "Shadow". The majority of the segments are musical, while others are just brief stories that relate to the episode's theme. Bear and Luna, the moon, sing the good-bye song at the end of the show.
