INFORMATION

PLOT

Otis, a male cow with udders, and his barnyard pals are the main characters and the focus of the story. Otis needs to be responsible and defend the Barnyard's residents despite his want to ride his horse about. He has many exciting adventures while also helping Otis defend the farm with his buddies Pip the mouse, Abby the cow, Pig, Freddy the ferret, Peck the rooster, Duke the sheepdog, and Bessy the cow. Although the location is unknown, it is strongly implied that it is in the made-up town of Oedeville, Arizona. Although the Grand Canyon has been depicted in some episodes, such as Cowman and Ratboy, the setting closely resembles Arizona, raising the question of whether it is actually in Arizona or a made-up setting has been raised by some. Oedeville, which Steve Oedekerk most likely named after himself, is said to be 20 miles from Phoenix in the original movie and a spin-off episode. There is still disagreement about whether this should be the show's actual setting because there are numerous sequences where the natural scenery does not resemble Arizona at all (it is green and hills, as opposed to Arizona, which is more of a desert-like region that is dry, arid, and sandy). Otis and his companions must overcome numerous challenges, such as preventing Mrs. Beady from demonstrating that animals can communicate with one another and distancing the farmer so they may host a party. Otis frequently finds himself in a precarious circumstance that requires the help of his pals, which forces him to learn a lesson. No one save Mrs. Beady notices when the animals dress up like people when they go out in public.
