PLOT
Situated at the edge of the world, the Kingdom of Ozmargo thrives with an array of diverse and formidable creatures, all subjected to the rule of an imposing, unnamed king. Following a century-long war between Ozmargo and the neighboring human kingdom, a peace accord is established, stipulating an annual sacrifice to be devoured by the king on the night of revelation. Sariphi, the 99th and most recent human sacrifice, possesses a delicate appearance but harbors neither fear of the king nor any familial ties or home to return to if she were to somehow escape her impending fate. Intrigued by this audacious girl, the king defies the counsel of his advisor, Anubis, allowing Sariphi to explore the palace. As time passes, a gradual bond forms between the king and Sariphi, transcending their initial reservations. However, the approaching night of revelation looms ominously. Unbeknownst to them, this fateful day sets in motion a sequence of events that will alter the destiny not only of Sariphi and the king but also of their respective worlds.
