PLOT

The shaky peace between the neighboring nations of Ostania and Westalis is constantly in danger from corrupt lawmakers, irrational nationalists, and other hostile forces. Famous spy and master of disguise "Twilight" carries out risky missions one after another despite their schemes in the hope that no kid will have to witness the horrors of war.Twilight assumes the guise of "Loid Forger," a renowned psychiatrist in the lively Ostanian metropolis of Berlint. His real objective, however, is to gather information on famous politician Donovan Desmond, who rarely makes public appearances at the esteemed Eden Academy, where his sons attend. Loid executes his master plan by using the unmarried city hall clerk Yor Briar to pose as his wife and adopting the inquisitive six-year-old orphan Anya as his daughter. Anya will be enrolled at Eden Academy, where Loid expects she will succeed and provide him with the chance to meet Donovan without raising any red flags.
