PLOT
"Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku" is an anime series based on the manga of the same name by Fujita. The story revolves around the lives of Narumi Momose and Hirotaka Nifuji, two office workers who are also passionate otaku (people who are obsessed with anime, manga, and video games). Narumi is a fujoshi, a female fan of boys' love manga, while Hirotaka is a hardcore gamer. They both harbor their otaku interests secretly, but their paths cross again when they discover that they work in the same office. After learning about each other's hobbies, they decide to date and embrace their otaku lifestyle together.
