PLOT

The Manifestation Engine, which is located on Blue Island, has been the solution to the world's energy crisis for the past five years. The jovial Akane Isshiki, her trusty younger sister Momo, and her grandfather Kenjirou, one of the creators of the Manifestation Engine, live on the neighboring island of Izu Ooshima. Everything seems like a dream as they coexist peacefully with the formidable creation, but then the mysterious "Alone" beings emerge, attempting to obliterate it. Akane is given a special key containing the "Vivid System" by Kenjirou after armed forces fail to drive back the invaders, enabling her to take on the Alone. As the final ray of hope for humanity, Akane and her friends—Aoi Futaba, Wakaba Saegusa, and Himawari Shinomiya—fight alongside one another against the unexpected foe.
