PLOT
Vampires have been around for a very long time, and they are ruled by the Scarlet Moon. Every year, "Visual Prison," a visual kei contest, takes place. The Scarlet Moon bestows enormous power upon the vampire who sings the most beautiful song. ECLIPSE, the current champions who support the status quo, and LOST EDEN, a group that supports the idea that the strongest should govern, are at the forefront of the contest. Ange Yuki is a lonely young man who has no faith in his vocal prowess. He relocates to Harajuku in search of a performer he aspires to, but while on his search, he becomes involved in one of the several live performance conflicts between ECLIPSE and LOST EDEN. He is stunned by their interesting stages, but he quickly collapses from bloodlust. When Ange regains consciousness, he discovers that Guiltia "Guil" Brion, the singer he admires, is taking care of him. He also discovers that he is a dhampir, a hybrid of human and vampire. Guil explains that he will not join Ange in this quest even if Ange now has the opportunity to take part in the next Visual Prison. In the meantime, Ange meets Robin Laffite, an Englishman who is mesmerized by his incredible singing voice. Ange must put up a strong team in a thrilling battle against time as the tournament day draws closer.
