PLOT
Johnny Rico, a high school student in Buenos Aires, is unsure on what he wants to do with his life after graduation. When his childhood sweetheart Carmen and his friend Carl enlist in the Federal Military, he joins as well in the hopes of pursuing Carmen into space. But Johnny finds himself in the middle of a conflict with an odd alien foe that resembles a bug as a war breaks out on the outer planets.
