PLOT
After graduating from college, Rikuo Uozumi has all but given up hope of a bright future and is now working aimlessly at a convenience store in Tokyo. His routine existence is disturbed when the odd Haru Nonaka appears, stopping by his place of employment frequently to make friends with him. Rikuo makes an effort to develop his friendship with Shinako Morinome, an old college crush who has moved back into the area. Rikuo is unaware that Shinako is still struggling with unpleasant memories from her past that prevented her from accepting his feelings. Meanwhile, as Haru keeps confiding in Rikuo, he learns that she, like him, lives alone and wishes to leave her comfort zone for an unknown future. The future is distant, while the past lingers for a very long time in the mind. These three encounter what it means to let go of their sentiments from the past and welcome the change that tomorrow will bring as they reach a fork in their connected journeys.
