PLOT
A regular teenager named Yoshino Takigawa is covertly seeing the younger sister of his best friend Mahiro. But when his fiancée Aika inexplicably passes away, Mahiro vanishes with a promise to track out the killer and make them pay for killing his cherished sister. Yoshino goes about his daily business and hasn't heard from Mahiro in a month, but then he encounters a weird female who threatens to shoot him, and his best buddy arrives just in time to save him. Yoshino discovers the existence of the "Tree of Exodus" and that Mahiro has engaged the aid of a witch by the name of Hakaze Kusaribe to identify Aika's killer. Despite the looming danger to the world, the witch's brother has an irrational desire to exploit its power. However, Yoshino and Mahiro must now assist Hakaze in saving the planet while getting closer and closer to the truth of what really happened to Aika because she has been exiled to a barren island.
