PLOT
The prominent all-girls middle school Tokiwadai Middle School is competing as well now that the Daihasei Festival has started. Mikoto Misaka, the "Ace of Tokiwadai," is competing, but the other kids are still giving it their all to win, no matter how impossible it may appear to do so given her enormous strength. However, not everything is enjoyable. The festival opens Academy Metropolis to the outside world, and as a result, numerous factions have started planning ways to get into the city. They seem to be keeping an eye on Misaka, and as the event goes on, shadowy figures start to emerge. The Tokiwadai Ace and her pals return in Toaru Kagaku no Railgun T as they delve further into Academy City's shadowy underbelly. Anything is possible in this metropolis, from terrorist strikes to cunning underground enterprises.
