PLOT
Joutarou Aragaki, known as the Samurai for his distinctive hairdo, has a shoulder injury during the height of his gymnastics career. He still challenges his body's boundaries five years later while competing for the Japanese gymnastics team. Joutarou's rigorous training, nevertheless, yields no results. Noriyuki Amakusa, his coach, suggests that he call it quits. Joutarou travels to Ego Wonderland with his vivacious and encouraging nine-year-old daughter, Rei, in order to deliver the difficult news to her. However, their journey culminates in an unusual meeting with Leonardo, a strange self-styled ninja. When Joutarou tries to tell his daughter something, he follows them home and interrupts him repeatedly. Joutarou shocks Japan with his revelation that he is not retiring after discovering that Leonardo wants to see his gymnastics once more. Joutarou commits himself to taking on his toughest test yet in an effort to establish his place in the gymnastics community.
