PLOT
Major Land is a vibrant musical universe where the notes and instruments come to life. Hummy, the cat singer of Major Land, gets ready to perform the "Melody of Happiness," a tune that can bring joy to other planets, at an annual performance event. Mephisto, the ruler of Minor Land, intervenes, rewriting the event's music to become the "Melody of Sorrow"—a dissonant piece that, when played, would instead evoke sorrow. Hummy is tasked with locating the Precure, famed warriors with an unrivaled love of music, and recreating the Melody of Happiness in order to stop this from happening. Hummy arrives in Kanon Town, the residence of the scholarly baker Kanade Minamino and the musically minded athlete Hibiki Houjou. Hibiki and Kanade used to be best friends, but have since lost touch due to their constant arguments. An unwanted visitor, Siren, the vocalist of Minor Land, interrupts their activities. The girls become the Suite Precure when Siren transforms a significant record into a huge monster out of a desire to defend what they value most. Hibiki and Kanade, two renowned warriors, will need to put their differences aside if they want to keep the world happy.
