PLOT
Johnson, a lonely salaryman, laments his humdrum existence and yearns for a world filled with adventure. But after having a hallucinogenic experience, he remembers vividly a fabled space pirate by the name of Cobra. Cobra had crossed space with Lady Armaroid while carrying the Psychogun on his left arm. The two together made up a notorious crew despised by the government and despised by the Pirate Guild, an organization of the most ruthless pirates in the galaxy. With his gains bringing him face-to-face with the manager—Pirate Guild chief Vaiken, whom he had previously seen defeated by Cobra in his dream—Johnson had an encounter at a casino that alters his life back on Earth. Vaiken, who recognizes Johnson as the Cobra in disguise, tries to wreak retribution but instead activates the Psychogun tucked beneath Johnson's left arm, bringing back his suppressed memories and letting Lady Armaroid know. Now that Cobra has defeated Vaiken once more and has regained his memory, he emerges from hiding to confront the interplanetary mafia of the Pirate Guild. He travels through space with Lady Armaroid, carrying on their life of perilous adventure and helping those who have been wronged by the Guild members.
