PLOT
Mari Tamaki, who is overcome with awe at the beauty of the earth, has always imagined what is on the other side of the universe. Nevertheless, despite having such lofty ambitions on the inside, she has never pursued them because of her fear of the unknown and worry about her own potential limitations. However, Mari is more determined than ever to make the most of her remaining youth as she enters her second year of high school. But until she has a fortuitous encounter with a girl who has big goals of her own, her fear keeps her from taking that bold step ahead. Shirase Kobuchizawa has been working arduously to pay for her trip to Antarctica after being motivated by the loss of her mother. Shirase is adamant about starting this voyage to look for her mother in a location farther than the cosmos itself, despite encountering skepticism and mockery from nearly everyone. Mari is eager to join Shirase since she has motivated her. Soon, the effervescent Hinata Miyake, who is eager to stand out, and Yuzuki Shiraishi, a polite girl from a high class background, become interested in their efforts. They set sail together for the icy south.
