PLOT
The only sound that breaks the chilly winter calm is the rumble of a motorcycle amid the abandoned remnants of a once-vibrant metropolis. The only remaining survivors of the devastated city are its riders, Chito and Yuuri. The two females spend their time exploring the wastelands and speculating about the past while scavenging abandoned military sites for food and spare parts. When Chito and Yuuri have each other, sharing the burden of being two of the last humans becomes a little bit more tolerable. Chito and Yuuri periodically battle with the impending solitude. Their gloomy days get a little brighter with shooting practice, new books, and snowball fights on the icy battlefield between Yuuri's clumsy exuberance and Chito's cool calmness. Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou portrays the inspiring tale of two girls and their search to find hope in a desolate and dying planet among a setting of desolate landscapes and derelict buildings.
