PLOT
Shino Inuzuka, Sousuke Inukawa, and Hamaji's town of Ootsuka was set ablaze since it was believed that a virus had been completely wiped off. A weird man carrying a sword approached the three, who were now engulfed in flames and on the edge of death. He advises them to make a choice if they wish to survive. For these kids, that evening was a pivotal one. Five years later, the three-person family is now housed in a nearby village under the watchful gaze of the tiny Imperial Church. Everything is great up until the Church tries to get back the demon sword of Murasame. To do this, they kidnap Hamaji in order to entice Shino, who is now carrying Murasame's soul, and Sousuke, who has the ability to change into a dog. The brothers' terrible journey begins when they must put their differences aside to save their beloved sister from the Church in the Imperial Capital.
