PLOT
It is the year 1983. The human race is being attacked as the Cold War is in full swing. Strange aliens known as "BETA" have come to Earth with the intention of wiping out all life. The front line is gradually being pushed back towards the remaining cities despite soldiers' orders to oppose the alien invaders using massive combat suits known as Tactical Surface Fighters (TSF). In Schwarzesmarken, the narrative revolves around Second Lieutenant Theodor Eberbach and the other members of the 666th TSF squadron, a brutal group that prioritizes mission success over the lives of its own members. The unit specializes in counterassault strikes on laser-class BETA and is based in East Germany under the command of war hero Captain Irisdina Bernhard. However, when upbeat newcomer Katia Waldheim joins the squadron and attracts the attention of East Germany's secret police, the Stasi, the 666th Squadron discovers that it has more adversaries than only the alien invaders.
