PLOT
Two newborn girls were born in the same hospital; one is the daughter of an aristocratic family and the other is from an impoverished family that resides in the city's slums. But out of a personal grudge, the charge nurse, Michiko, covertly switches the two infants, changing the course of the girls' lives going forward. Years later, the two girls' lives are still entwined, with the wealthy Miki mistreating the less fortunate Nozomi, yet they share a desire to become singers.
