PLOT
It is the year 1989. The development of new technology has allowed Hinomoto, which was destabilized during the last World War, to be revitalized. The invention of aircraft, gasoline engines, and geomagnetic technologies by modern engineering revolutionized transportation. Nearly all railroads have been replaced by more effective forms of transportation. Thoughtful "Raillords" want to restore the railroads' previous glory. The Raillords serve as humanoid control modules for their assigned railways. They are portrayed as vivacious, enthusiastic girls. The Raillord Summit, presided over by Suzushiro, a Raillord from Manoka Railways, brings them together in Ohitoyo City. Together, the crew takes use of its ability to work as a team to restart the railroads, ushering in a "new railroad age."
