PLOT
The Japanese now accept youkai into their society after decades of hostility and miscommunication. Normal kids start going to school with quite humanoid paranormal monsters in an effort to integrate the species. Hatoko "Petoko" Fujimura is a half-youkai, half-human young woman who possesses the uncontrollable cuteness to enchant those around her (similar to a low-power succubus), the ability to get stuck to anyone who touches her bare flesh (cured by her falling asleep), and the capacity to vanish even at the molecular level. Shingo Ohashi finds himself growing feelings for her (which she can for the most part control).
