INFORMATION

PLOT

The globe faces a number of problems in the not-too-distant future, including pollution, resource depletion, population growth, and so forth. The Japanese government created sensory simulation capsules (also known as "beds") in response and successfully launched the "Gaia" virtual reality program. It's interesting that the program's creators left out the idea of agony; as a result, there is no such thing as pain or death in this new virtual universe. Oono Yuuri discovers a curious card on an otherwise ordinary day, which starts off a series of odd occurrences that develop into a story of clashing dreams, surprising friendships, and reluctance to exact revenge.
