PLOT
Nijiiro Days covers the colorful lives and romantic relationships of four high school boys: Natsuki Hashiba, a romantic idealist; Tomoya Matsunaga, a narcissistic playboy; Keiichi Katakura, a kinky sadist; and Tsuyoshi Naoe, an otaku with a cosplayer lover. When his fiancée abruptly breaks up with him on Christmas Eve, Natsuki sobs in the street and receives tissues from a young woman dressed as Santa Claus. Anna Kobayakawa, a girl he immediately falls in love with, attends his school, which is lucky for him. To Natsuki's dismay, his nosy buddies frequently interfere in his relationship as they try to be successful in their own romantic pursuits. Natsuki's pursuit of Anna should have been straightforward and uneventful.
