Hideki "Rusian" Nishimura, a naive otaku, musters up the confidence to propose to a girl in an online game, and is devastated when she flat-out rejects him. The girl then admits that she is actually an older man in real life, which just makes things worse. In the midst of his rage, Rusian makes a sudden decision: he will never trust another lady in an online game again. His hopes dashed and his heart broken. Years later, Rusian is now a member of a guild with three other players, one of whom has an Ako avatar. Ruslan is the love of Ako's life, and she wants to marry him. Despite considering the potential that she might be a man, Rusian agrees to her request and says it is irrelevant what gender she is as long as she is cute in-game. However, after a conversation among the guild members that resulted in an offline gathering of all of them, Rusian learns that Ako and the other members are not only girls but also his classmates.
