PLOT
Minare Koda, a waitress, recently went through a difficult breakup. She shouts about her sorrow to Kanetsugu Matou, a radio station director from Sapporo, Hokkaido, after a night out, who is a complete stranger. Minare is astonished to hear a recording of herself from the previous night playing over the radio the next day at work. She goes to the radio station in a rage to halt the broadcast because she is agitated. A series of events cause her to apologize live on air for her vicious drunken speech as she confronts Matou. She speaks smoothly and confidently with her upbeat voice, which Matou perceives as natural talent. Under Matou's guidance, Minare quickly establishes herself as a late-night talk show host, hosting humorous stories based on Sapporo while juggling her day job and personal life to make ends meet.
