PLOT
"My Love Story!!" (Ore Monogatari!! in Japanese) is a romantic comedy anime series based on the manga of the same name by Kazune Kawahara. The series aired from April to September 2015 and was produced by Madhouse. The story revolves around Takeo Gouda, a giant high school student who is extremely kind and selfless but often gets overlooked by girls who prefer his best friend, Makoto Sunakawa, who is more traditionally handsome and cool. Despite his imposing size and scary appearance, Takeo has a gentle soul and is always ready to help others, which is part of his charm. Takeo's love life takes a turn when he saves a petite girl named Rinko Yamato from a groper on a train. He instantly falls in love with her, but he assumes that she, like all the other girls he's liked, is interested in Sunakawa. However, it turns out Yamato is actually attracted to Takeo.
