PLOT
"Mobile Emergency Police" is a children's anime show, also known as "Mobil Police Patlabor." The series is part of the larger "Patlabor" franchise that includes anime, manga, light novels, and live-action films. Set in the near future where technology has advanced to the point where large robots known as "Labors" are commonly used in construction projects, there is a rising problem of Labor crime. To combat this, the Tokyo Metropolitan Police establish the Special Vehicles Division, an array of Patrol Labors or "Patlabors." The story focuses on Noa Izumi, Asuma Shinohara, and the rest of the members of the Second Unit, as they battle against Labor crime while also dealing with their own personal and work-related issues.
