PLOT

"Minami Kamakura Koukou Joshi Jitensha-bu" (Minami Kamakura High School Girls Cycling Club) is a sports, slice-of-life anime series that aired in 2017. The series is based on the manga of the same name by Noriyuki Matsumoto. The story revolves around Hiromi Maiharu, a girl who moves from Nagasaki to Kamakura. She decides to start riding a bicycle to her new school, but she hasn't cycled since she was young and struggles initially. On her first day of the journey, she meets Tomoe Akitsuki, a fellow high school student who helps her train in cycling. As Hiromi continues to embrace her new hobby, she decides to join the school's Girls' Cycling Club, where she meets more friends and begins to participate in cycling events. The series follows Hiromi and her friends as they experience the joys of bicycling, learn about teamwork, and face various challenges together.
