PLOT
The story takes place in Minami Shimabara city in Nagasaki Prefecture, the alleged birthplace of the Shimabara Rebellion that shook early Edo era Japan as a whole. Shirou, a junior high school student in his third year, spends his days there with his classmates. Akane, Shirou's elder childhood friend, arrives in Minami Shimabara one summer day from Tokyo. Shirou and Akane wander through Minami Shimabara with Tokiya, another dependable companion. These buddies are coping with complex emotions and nostalgia when all of a sudden Goron, a bizarre creature, emerges in front of them. Great events once more unfold in this metropolis as a result of this encounter with a tiny creature...
