PLOT
Being an explorer in a party is one of the most coveted vocations in a planet where monster invasions are common and widespread because of the respect and fame it brings. A young human warrior named Alvin wants to establish a reputation for himself, so he plans to start out by executing a straightforward task for the guild. Alvin encounters a mystical bear on the way and finds himself in trouble right away. As luck would have it, a dark elf healer by the name of Karla comes along and inquires as to if Alvin needs help while obliviously asking about it. Alvin manages to persuade Karla to assist him after a talk that is unnecessarily complicated by her excessively unusual nature. Unfortunately, she unintentionally lays a curse on Alvin instead of mending him, causing him to perish if he ventures too far from her. Alvin's desire to become a full-fledged explorer is unwavering, even if he must travel with Karla until the curse is lifted. With a companion by his side, achieving his objective can become simpler—or harder—based on Karla's whims.
