PLOT
Makura no Danshi lulls the audience to sleep by whispering pleasant melodies into their ears. A different boy who will listen to the audience and hold them when they need it is featured in each little episode. Boys are available for all tastes: Merry is a sweet brown-haired young man, and Sousuke Tanaka is an experienced businessman. High school student Kanade Hanamine puts on a tough exterior but is terrified of simple spiders; Ryuushi Theodore Emori is a bashful person who enjoys astronomy; Eiji Kijinami is a bitter loser who appears to be a punk but has a soft heart; Haruto Enokawa, a vivacious 5-year-old who won't go to bed without a bedtime story, is a freshman with grandiose aspirations; Yuu Maiki; Stylish college student Nao Sasayama is dependent on his smartphone; Yonaga and Yayoi Chigiri are siblings who are learning how to arrange flowers, Yorusu Mochizuki is a librarian who values both books and book lovers, and Yuuichirou Iida is a witty elderly guy who owns an oden shop. These boys will softly chat about themselves and gently prod the audience members into disclosing their concerns, even though the viewers may be struggling with a variety of challenges in life. The gentle nature of each boy will make the audience feel valued and cherished.
