PLOT
Saki Uno, 15, is a typical young woman with a side gig as a member of the infamously hated idol group Magical Twins. Although she tries to get closer to her childhood sweetheart, Sakuyo Mikage's brother Mohiro, she still adores the time she spends with her best friend. Her tranquil existence is disturbed when she discovers a thug who appears to be from the yakuza trying to enter her home. When she is compelled to accept his invitation to enter, Saki discovers that her mother was a demon-slaying Magical Girl and that the obnoxious visitor is actually Kokoro-chan, a mascot searching for a replacement. Saki is reluctant to comply with the request since she is perplexed and skeptic until Kokoro-chan tells that Mohiro is a target of some adorable, squirrel-tailed demons. When Saki rushes to Mohiro's side, her Love Power is activated by her intense desire to save him, and a risky revelation reawakens her as a Magical Girl. However, Saki's transformation turns her into a muscle-bound guy wearing a lovely dress because her physique is not designed for combat. Now that Saki is an official Magical Girl, she must work with Sakuyo to defend her beloved from the fluffy, demonic threats that are rampant in her realm.
