PLOT
Childhood pals Mio Miyamasu and Arata Kishimo are now in high school. Mio has feelings for Arata, but she is too timid to admit it. Mio unwillingly declines when her friend Madoka inquires as to whether or not she is in love with Arata and instead counsels her to focus on her own feelings for him. Arata and Mio later go to a fortune-teller, and while there, the boy witnesses a weird occurrence and tries to yank Mio out of the store, much to Mio's chagrin. A dispute breaks out between Mio and Arata as she starts to wonder about her connection with him. Mio goes outside in the rain that evening to apologize to Arata and express her regret for what had happened. However, a mishap along the way upends Mio's entire universe.
