PLOT

"Mahou no Idol Pastel Yumi" (Magical Idol Pastel Yumi) is a Japanese magical girl anime series produced by Studio Pierrot, known for its other magical girl series such as "Creamy Mami, the Magic Angel" and "Magical Emi, the Magic Star." The series, which aired in 1986, follows Yumi Hanazono, a cheerful and creative young girl who loves flowers and dreams of becoming a mangaka. One day, she comes across two flower fairies who grant her the power to transform her drawings into reality for a limited time. Using her magical sketchbook and pen, Yumi can change into her older alter ego, Pastel Yumi, and solve various problems while also getting a taste of what it's like to be a teenager. The catch, however, is that the transformations and magic only last for five minutes at a time.
