PLOT
The show centers on the bizarre events that surround Kaiz Katsu, an oddball kid with a distinctive viewpoint on the world. He was originally a child prodigy, but when he was 7 years old, his boyhood buddy Umi Natori expelled him from the jungle gym, causing him to sustain a head injury that altered the course of his personality. He had a keen interest in many strange phenomena, including ghosts and UFOs. A human anatomy model that had unintentionally fallen from the second story of the school building struck Kaiz when she was 17 years old. Suzu Saien, the president of the science club, revives him using a defibrillator, and he begins to believe that he was reconstructed as a cyborg. Suzu Saien fosters this delusion for her own amusement. Kaiz joins the science club and quickly becomes a source of constant frustration for Umi as well as Chitan Tsubouchi, another club member. Kaiz was enrolled in the Genius Cram School, a local school for prodigies in a variety of subjects like sleeping or fashion, at the time of his injury when he was 7 years old. However, a confused Kaiz accidentally mixed hazardous chemicals when destroying the structure following the disaster. The science club now frequently encounters individuals who once attended the same cram school as Kaiz and exhibit even more bizarre behavior.
