PLOT
Jin Mikuriya's idea for his most recent work of art, The Tree Spirit, comes from a chance encounter he had as a young boy while bug-catching. Jin thinks that the rest of the day will be spent with people praising his accomplishment, and he tries to figure out how to get the wooden statue to school. The sculpture starts absorbing the dirt surrounding it before he can even raise it, then explodes into a sweet girl! Nagi, the young woman, claims to be a protector of the environment and demands that Jin assist her in purging the "impurities" that afflict the landscape. However, owing to Nagi's tree being down and her powers being totally depleted, she is forced to use a magic wand to remove the impurities. Now that their lives are interwoven, Jin and Nagi discover methods to get to know one another better through the countless everyday pranks.
