PLOT
Karin Hanazono, an orphan, is left feeling empty and lonely after losing her beloved cat. Her cruel aunt hates having to look after her because she doesn't have any friends and does poorly in school. She holds on to the ring that her mother gave her, firmly hoping that one day God will grant her salvation. Karin is seeking comfort by visiting the grave of her deceased cat when she unintentionally runs into Kazune Kuujou, a young man who claims to be searching for God. Kazune criticizes her for being weak and relying on her dead pet for solace. Karin subconsciously directs her anger into her mother's ring as a result of the insult. She soon starts to do well in school and receives her first compliments from classmates. She is unaware that the ring has given her supernatural abilities. Not only Kazune, but even other evil characters who want to use Karin for their own malevolent ends, are attracted by the discovery of the ring's transcendent potency. Without knowing her true origins or that there are others with similar talents, Karin must now use her newly discovered gift to fight back against these evil forces.
