PLOT
Youtarou Hanabusa's emotions can be summed up in eight words: "I just want to live a regular life." Unfortunately for him, he has a condition he calls "White Knight Syndrome" as a result of his training in an international, historic order known as the Knights of the World. Youtarou's condition makes him naturally brave and valiant anytime he comes across someone in danger. He always has a mask on him to conceal his identity in such uncomfortable situations. The little daughter of a wealthy and eminent family, Makio Kidouin, is one day saved by him. He has no idea how this one heroic deed will alter his life forever. He soon finds himself living a life of luxury and oddity in equal measure since his new companion Makio leads a life that is considerably different from the norm. Youtarou must defend his new companion while preserving his identity as the masked hero Knight Lancer while dealing with the antics of six-year-old Makio and a cast of eccentric pals and cunning opponents.
