PLOT
In Joshiraku, five rakugo storyteller girls talk about the strange occurrences that occur to them every day. Their humorous banter ranges from meaningless observations of ordinary life to politics, manga, and other subjects. Every girl has something fresh to give to the conversation, and it never ends where it started. The optimistic and unsteady Kukuru Anrakutei, the vivacious but immature Marii Buratei, the innocent and carefree Tetora Bouhatei, the naturally lucky and carefree Gankyou Kuurubiyuutei, and the mellow but violent Marii Buratei each have their own distinct personalities. These gals share their insights with the audience either backstage at the rakugo theater or in different well-known spots throughout Tokyo, together with a mysterious acquaintance wearing a wrestling mask.
