PLOT
Kaede Honj starts using the MMORPG NewWorld Online under the alias Maple after being prodded by a friend. Maple chooses to utilize a shield and has her defensive stats maxed out. She keeps investing all of the status points she gains throughout the game only towards raising her defense level. She now has sluggish foot speed and no magic, but her excellent defense enables her to withstand the majority of blows without suffering any harm. She is able to do unexpected feats in the game's tasks and events thanks to this and her elementary level creativity. As a result, she gains a variety of similarly unexpected skills and rises to the rank of one of the game's most powerful players.
