PLOT
Yaguchi Haruo, a sixth-grader, lives for video games only in 1991. He isn't well-liked at school, and he isn't attractive, humorous, pleasant, or even friendly. He is good at video games, and it is the only thing he has going for him. He plays Oono Akira, a classmate who is popular, intelligent, attractive, and wealthy, one day in the neighborhood arcade. Oono Akira completely dominates him at Street Fighter II. He not only loses against her 30 times in a row, but he also fails to defeat her in any game. Akira pursues Haruo from arcade to arcade every day after school, defeating him each time. Haruo can't seem to get rid of her. As unusual as it may sound, the odd pair forges an odd friendship.
