PLOT
There is a Heart Flower inside each person, and it is connected to the enormous Heart Tree that keeps an eye on everyone. The HeartCatch Pretty Cures guard this tree in opposition to the Desert Apostles, who want to wilt everything and convert the entire world into a desert. But when the Heart Tree stops blooming due to the defeat of the current Pretty Cure, Cure Moonlight, in combat, she sends two fairies, Chypre and Coffret, to the surface to find a new Pretty Cure. They locate Tsubomi Hanasaki, a quiet young woman who adores flowers and had recently moved to the city with her family; she is given the ability to transform into Cure Blossom. They fight against the Desert Apostles, who turn the wilting Heart Flowers within people into monsters known as Desertarians, with the assistance of her new companion Erika Kurumi, who transforms into a Cure Marine. By eliminating these creatures, they obtain Heart Seeds, which restore the health of the Heart Tree.
