PLOT
The scene then cuts to the present, when Haré is an ordinary youngster living with his slothful mother Weda in an unnamed village in an unnamed jungle. The man is returning from his task of getting bananas when a large, shadowy entity overtakes him. He rushes back to the house where his mother has invited a new visitor, a gorgeous girl named Guu, out of fear. Haré awakens the following morning to discover Guu has entirely changed and is no longer cute, sociable, or active. There is no sign of the change, it seems. Haré has to walk Guu about and explain things while she generally keeps quiet and is oblivious to them. Haré discovers Guu enjoys food. Haré gets ingested by Guu, but instead of passing away, he is transported to another realm. Seiichi and Tomoyo, a couple who have accepted their fate in Guu's stomach, are there when he meets them. Guu spits Haré out, and she follows him to school where she meets the town elder and all of Haré's classmates (whom she swallows and spits back out) (whose chest hair she rips out).
